I am Arpon. I am from Bangladesh. I love playing chess, watching sitcoms and traveling.
I completed my B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from NIT Trichy, India in August 2024. I was a recipient of the ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) scholarship in 2020. During my undergraduate studies, I interned at IIT Bombay's MeDAL Lab, where I worked on Self-Supervised Learning techniques for meaningful image representations. Currently, I am working as a Research Assistant at the Advanced Machine Intelligence Research Lab (AMIR Lab) .

My interests mostly lie in designing efficient and robust model architectures for learning meaningful representations to improve performance in downstream tasks. Lately, I have been drawn to LLM Reasoning and Foundation models (Multimodal data). My long-term goal is to augment human intelligence with more capable artificial intelligence. And when I'm not coding or researching, you’ll probably find me solving problems on LeetCode, Codeforces or Deep-ML.
