I’m Arpon, from Bangladesh — a Computer Science graduate on paper and a traveler at heart. I find joy in building intelligent systems as much as I do in exploring new places, cultures and foods.

I completed my B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from NIT Trichy, India in August 2024. I was a recipient of the ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) scholarship in 2020. During my undergraduate studies, I interned at IIT Bombay's MeDAL Lab, where I worked on contrastive learning methods for self-supervised image representation learning. Currently, I am working as a Research Assistant at the Advanced Machine Intelligence Research Lab (AMIR Lab) .

My interests sits at the intersection of research and engineering. What excites me most is the journey from a half-baked idea to something that actually runs. I enjoy going deep into ideas as much as I enjoy building things that work — from getting an AI system to behave, to getting it deployed and running reliably and I'm very much in the middle of that journey. On the research side, I'm interested in how models reason, generate and generalize and what that unlocks for science, coding and health. Outside of all this, you will find me spending an embarrassing amount of time on LeetCode / Deep-ML / LeetGPU.
